Exterior

According to Punekar News, the Mahindra XUV.e9’s spy photos revealed its enclosed grille, demonstrating its electric qualities.

Interior

The interior of the Mahindra XUV.e9 resembles the design of its sibling XUV.e8. The 5-seater electric coupe’s center console features a huge screen, a gear lever, a wide AC unit, a two-spoke steering wheel with different controls, and an illuminated brand logo. According to Cartoq, the model’s fully digital cockpit features three 12.3″ TFT screens for the instrument console, infotainment, and other entertainment functions.

It will also offer luxury leather upholstery. In addition, it features advanced safety technologies such as follows:

  • Level 2 ADAS technology
  • 7 airbags
  • Electronic stability control
  • 360-degree camera

Technical details

The report also indicated that the model will potentially feature an 80 kWh battery pack that enables a WLTP-estimated driving range of 435 km to 450 km.

It will apparently offer dual motors with an output of 230 BHP and 350 BHP on each axle to support All-Wheel Drive (AWD) configuration.

Mahindra has yet to announce the official pricing of the new XUV.e9 model. We may learn more about the model when it hits the Indian market by the end of 2025, which coincides with its global debut. It will closely compete with other all-electric SUVs like the BYD Atto 3, Hyundai Ioniq 5, and Tata Harrier EV.
