CarDekho reported that the company aims to introduce an electric passenger vehicle before any Indian brand other than the country’s well-known automakers (Tata Motors and Mahindra). Ola Electric founder Bhavish Aggarwal stated, “it will be the fastest and sportiest car India has ever seen.”

The Tamil Nadu manufacturing site where the company develops its two-wheeler will also produce the upcoming Ola EV. Notably, it is anticipated to reach the market by 2024.

Ola Electric Car Interior

Based on the teaser provided by the company, the Ola Electric Car interior has a sporty-looking hexagonal steering wheel with jet-styled backlit buttons on both sides. It is positioned in front of a digital driver display, which seems to have a simple informational layout.

The infotainment system’s tablet-like center screen is mounted at the same level as the steering wheel. The graphic demonstrates that Ola’s native OS will be used to run it. The cabin has an illumination strip running the dashboard length at eye level, along with ambient lighting. On the driver’s side, it also includes illumination below the main dashboard.

Furthermore, it has a panoramic glass roof and a floating-type digital instrument cluster.

In this most recent Diwali teaser, the company also revealed the best view of the front profile of its anticipated electric vehicle. This depiction appears closer to a production design than the original concept, which seems to have undergone some changes.

The main light signature has not changed and continues to span the width of the front end along the bonnet line. Meanwhile, the LED DRL units have been streamlined and cut to just two strips on each side.

The front bumper of the Ola EV appears to be thick and chunky, a la Tesla. It is designed for aerodynamic efficiency and has sizable holes on either corner to direct air to the front brakes.

According to NewsBytes, the Ola Electric Car will feature a “sculpted bonnet, LED headlights, a full-width light bar-like DRL, an air splitter, a closed-off grille, a sloping roofline, and a raked windscreen.”

Furthermore, the teaser indicates that the upcoming Ola Electric Car rides on relatively broad tires for increased traction.

The ORVMs, handleless doors, wide wheel arches, and stylish alloy wheels will surround the electric vehicle.

Ola Electric Car Performance

Newsroom Post reported that the highly anticipated Ola Electric Car would be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in four seconds. Moreover, the car should have a 500 km range on a single charge.

Ola Electric Car Price

At the time of its 2024 launch, the company is expected to disclose the Ola Electric Car’s official price. However, the report estimates it to cost approximately Rs. 40 lakh (ex-showroom).

Ola Electric Mobility

The Indian-based company Ola Electric Mobility is headquartered in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Along with other key members, Bhavish Aggarwal and Ankit Bhati established it in 2017. The company aims to collaborate with battery makers, car manufacturers, and driver partners to develop cost-effective, sustainable technology.
