Q1 2024 sales results

As for the entire first quarter, Hyundai sold a total of 6,822 IONIQ 5 units. It represents an 18% sales growth from the same period last year, marking another milestone for the South Korean legacy automaker.

Overall, Hyundai’s electric vehicle sales surged 62% in Q1 2024 compared to the same period last year.

“Hyundai keeps producing products that win awards, and demand for our vehicles, especially EVs, remains high. We saw the best Q1 total sales results influenced by Palisade, Kona, and IONIQ.

We’re thrilled about the all-new Santa Fe, our successful NY Auto Show where IONIQ 5 N won World Performance Car of the Year and the introduction of the refreshed Tucson and Santa Cruz.”

Randy Parker, CEO, Hyundai Motor America

Pricing

Hyundai’s record-setting electric vehicle sales resulted from cutting prices and launching major incentives. In fact, the Hyundai IONIQ 6 and Kona EV have advanced to be two of the most affordable vehicles to lease regardless of powertrain, starting at only $169/month.

Presented below are the 2024 Hyundai IONIQ 5’s base prices per trim:
