Original Hoverboard developer Shane Chen has just unveiled his newest innovation yesterday, an electric two-wheeled car.
“Two-wheeled cars have simply not been practical or stable enough for everyday driving, until now. I was excited to create a car concept with two wheels that can go at high speeds and be energy efficient. I truly believe SHANE will make a difference in how we approach mobility and I look forward to collaborating with partners to bring this concept to life.”

What’s special about Shane EV?
Shane Chen stated in the press release that his latest invention “marks the inaugural moment in auto history that a parallel two-wheeled electric car is practical for everyday driving.”
The Shane EV boasts three key features, including Stability, Maneuverability, and Energy Efficiency.
Shane’s parallel wheels can automatically adjust the center of gravity to counter the car’s driving and braking torque for improved stability and safety.
It also has a two-wheel differential speed control for easier maneuverability and parking. In addition, its large wheels can reduce rolling resistance and in-wheel regenerative shocks. The feature allows for the conservation of damping energy, which can then be used to recharge the battery.
