Japanese legacy automaker Honda is on track to roll out its inaugural electric SUV offering to dealerships after starting production in February 2024.
In that sense, the company created some buzz by announcing that the 2024 Honda Prologue will sell for just under $40,000 owing to its full electric vehicle tax credit eligibility in the United States.
2024 Honda Prologue hits the “sweet spot” of the EV market
Honda is trying to gain customer interest for its upcoming 2024 Prologue electric SUV before it hits dealerships in the US.
The Japanese automaker recently released the 2024 Honda Prologue’s key specifications and starting prices, highlighting its full eligibility for federal tax credits under the Inflation Reduction Act.
“Having the Honda Prologue qualify for the $7,500 EV tax credit is great news for our customers.”
Lance Woelfer, Honda America National Auto Sales Assistant VP, said in a press release
This significant incentive enables the 2024 Honda Prologue to hit the “sweet spot” of the electric vehicle market as a “sleek, sporty electric SUV with the right price,” as Mr. Woelfer says.
