2024 Honda Prologue hits the “sweet spot” of the EV market

Honda is trying to gain customer interest for its upcoming 2024 Prologue electric SUV before it hits dealerships in the US.

The Japanese automaker recently released the 2024 Honda Prologue’s key specifications and starting prices, highlighting its full eligibility for federal tax credits under the Inflation Reduction Act.

“Having the Honda Prologue qualify for the $7,500 EV tax credit is great news for our customers.”

Lance Woelfer, Honda America National Auto Sales Assistant VP, said in a press release

This significant incentive enables the 2024 Honda Prologue to hit the “sweet spot” of the electric vehicle market as a “sleek, sporty electric SUV with the right price,” as Mr. Woelfer says.

The 2024 Honda Prologue leverages General Motors’ Ultium architecture and uses its battery tech, enabling the model to meet the stringent battery sourcing requirements in the US.

Nonetheless, the Japanese company refined the electric SUV with additional multi-link front and rear suspensions for a “sporty and engaging” driving experience.

Apart from that, the upcoming model also comes equipped with the following key features:

  • Built-in Google
  • Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility
  • Wireless phone charger
  • 19″ aluminum alloy wheels
  • Dual-zone climate control

Honda’s new 2024 Prologue also supports 150 kW DC fast charging speeds, enabling its 85 kWh battery pack to add 65 miles of range in just approximately 10 minutes.

Moreover, prospective buyers can also choose from the following three charging packages included with the purchase:
