2025 Honda CR-V e:FCEV lease options

Honda announced in a press release that there will be three lease options for customers based on the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $50,000, which ranges from two to six years.

The Japanese automaker plans to officially offer the lease options as early as July 9, 2024.

Presented below are the three lease options for Honda’s 2025 CR-V e:FCEV in California:

As you can see in the table above, customers who opt for the 72-month lease deal would benefit from $30,000 of hydrogen fuel credit. The monthly payment would be $389, with a down payment of $2,889.

However, the company expects the majority of customers to go for the three-year/36,000-mile lease deal. It requires $2,959 due at signing, with a monthly payment of $459.

Availability

Honda plans to offer the new 2025 Honda CR-V e:FCEV exclusively to the Californian market starting July 9, 2024.

The new hydrogen model would also not be available for sale as the Japanese automaker only intends to offer it under a lease deal.

The 2025 Honda CR-V e:FCEV will be available through 12 authorized Honda dealerships, including six in Southern California, five in the San Francisco Bay Area, and one in Sacramento.

As part of the deal, lessees can benefit from 24/7 roadside assistance and 21-day rental vehicle access from Avis (in California). They can also gain eligibility for California’s Clean Air Vehicle Stickers, which enables the car to use high-occupancy vehicle (HOV) lanes even with only one occupant onboard.

About the 2025 Honda CR-V e:FCEV

Honda’s hydrogen CR-V is expected to deliver a driving range of 270 miles, including an EPA-rated range of 29 miles in all-electric mode when fully charged.

Its battery has a capacity of 17.7 kilowatt-hour, while its hydrogen tanks can store some 4.3 kilograms of hydrogen.
