LiveWire, the electric motorcycle brand spun off from Harley-Davidson, has now declared that the LiveWire ONE electric motorcycle, the company’s flagship model, is now available in Europe.
The Harley-Davidson LiveWire electric motorcycle has been superseded by its successor, the LiveWire ONE.
The bike was initially made accessible in Europe a few years ago; however, due to the electric shakeup that the company underwent, there was a gap in the electron-powered Harley-Davidson lineup in Europe until the LiveWire One arrived on shore.
LiveWire Pricing
Compared to the price of the first-generation Harley-Davidson LiveWire, which came in just under the $30,000 mark in the United States, the high-performance electric motorcycle was introduced at a significantly more appealing price: approximately $23,000.
Although it is manufactured in the Harley-Davidson factory in York, Pennsylvania, in the United States, the European version of the LiveWire ONE is still categorically classified as a premium motorcycle.
Insideevs reports that the following is a breakdown of the pricing specific to each country (including VAT):
· Germany: €24,990
· France: €25,290
· The Netherlands: €25,390
· UK: £22,990
LiveWire ONE performance
Reservations for the LiveWire ONE, at one hundred euros each, are now being accepted, and priority shipping is expected to begin later in April.
Straddling an electromechanical rocket is the best way to describe the sensation of accelerating from zero to sixty miles per hour (96 kilometers per hour) in seconds.
The LiveWire ONE delivers a truly one-of-a-kind experience in the world of motorcycles thanks to the incredible torque it generates and the one-of-a-kind noise it makes thanks to its miter gear transmission.
The bike has a short range, at least for riding on the highway. But with a city range of 140 miles (225 km) and a mixed city/highway range of 90 miles (145 km), it makes a great in-between bike capable of handling local commuting and highway sprints.
And it’s like you can continue wearing your riding boots after the first 140 miles of the journey. Because it is equipped with fast DC charging, the LiveWire ONE can achieve an almost full charge in about half an hour, enabling riders to get back on the road much more quickly.
When riding a LiveWire, a few riders have even earned their Iron Butt by riding more than one thousand miles in a single day.
If you are able to charge your bike at home, there is a Level 1 wall charger that fits neatly underneath the saddle and allows you to get a full charge in one night.
LiveWire S2 Del Mar is coming soon
Although the LiveWire ONE is the only model the company offers, the LiveWire S2 Del Mar will be available for purchase very soon.
The ONE is considered more of a halo motorcycle because it demonstrates the brand’s superior engineering capabilities.
The S2 Del Mar keeps the strong acceleration and performance of the ONE, but it places a greater priority on being affordable and appealing to a wide range of customers.
The Del Mar’s Launch Edition bicycles have already been purchased, and the regular production bicycles are anticipated to retail for closer to US $17,000, which is approximately 25% less than the LiveWire ONE’s price.
There currently needs to be more information available regarding when the Del Mar will be made available in Europe. After a delay in production earlier this year, it is still being determined when they will be made available in the United States.
The first Launch Edition shipments may begin in the second or third quarter of 2023.
