Hyundai luxury brand Genesis finally disclosed on February 16 that its first-ever model built in the US, the all-new 2023 Electrified GV70, will have a base price of just $65,850. The press release has also revealed the standard and additional features of the GV70 EV, which has two trims.

For context, the GV70 is the automaker’s third EV offering after the debut of the GV60 SUV in 2021 and the Electrified G80 executive sedan in 2022.

Production facility

As mentioned, the 2023 Electrified GV70 is the first model to be assembled at the company’s Montgomery, Alabama, production plant in the US and beyond South Korea.

Genesis Motor North America COO Claudia Marquez

Interestingly, the upcoming 2023 Electrified GV70 will use the award-winning GV70 platform instead of the E-GMP from Hyundai.
