The Mapless Intelligent Driving tech has already undergone rigorous testing in Milan, Bangkok, and Hong Kong, hinting that the new “global model” may simultaneously launch in the Chinese and overseas markets.

This feature will enable the Haobo Hyper GT to navigate across the world, regardless of local mapping systems.

This upcoming powerful electric sedan also sports a wide range of features and design aimed at impressing international markets such as extended driving range, innovative platform tech, and advanced driver-assistance systems.

Haobo Hyper GT aims for efficiency with 800V supercharging & 710 km range

As mentioned, the upcoming Haobo Hyper GT will ride on an astounding 800V high-voltage supercharging technology.

It also delivers up to 710 kilometers between charges, further improving the model’s efficiency.

According to GAC, adding another 450 km of driving range only takes 15 minutes of charging.

In addition, the rear-wheel drive single motor yields an output of 340 horsepower (250 kW) and 434 Nm of torque. It enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds.

The GAC AEP 3.0 platform-based Haobo Hyper GT is 4880mm long, 1885mm wide, and 1455mm tall. It also has a generous 2920mm wheelbase.

GAC Aion’s sales performance – April 2024

GAC Aion suffered from a 31.45% year-on-year sales decline to a total of 28,113 units in April 2024.

The cumulative sales of Hyper’s three models only exceeded 1,000 units. The  Hyper GT was the top-selling model with only 584 unit sales, down 43% month-on-month.

The Haobo Hyper GT Global has the potential to improve the brand’s sales performance in the coming months. It can also disrupt the global electric vehicle market with its long driving range, innovative navigation capabilities, and strong performance.

We can expect to learn more details about the new Haobo Hyper GT Global, including technical specifications and pricing, on its launch on June 6, 2024.
