About the Hyper SSR

InsideEVs defines the new Hyper SSR as a “Rimac Nevera-rivalling” sports car. Notably, the brand named the EV “SSR” as it stands for Super, Sports, and Race.

It further indicated that the model currently has three variants, including the base-trim Hyper SSR, Spring, and Ultimate.

Exterior

The Hyper SSR is a sleek two-door electric coupe featuring a streamlined design and unique gull-wing doors.

It features L-shaped headlights at the front and a sporty bumper with big air intakes. It also has two thin taillights at the rear with an active spoiler.

Hyper managed to reduce the weight of the SSR by using carbon fiber materials. It enables 100 kg downforce owing to its aerodynamic features, Car News China indicated.

It has 245/35 R20 front wheels, 305/30 R20 rear wheels and carbon-fiber brakes.

The model has three electric motors that generate a maximum output of more than 900 kW and 12,000 Nm of torque. The entry-level trim can also accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.3 seconds. Meanwhile, the Sprint and Ultimate variants can do so in just 1.9 seconds.

As mentioned, the model has 1,224 horsepower and a driving range of up to 506 km.
