Charging solutions provider FreeWire developed the AI-based platform Mobilyze Pro to aid companies in selecting the ideal locations for their planned electric vehicle chargers through predictive algorithms.
The Mobilyze Pro is part of the company’s efforts to ensure sufficient and reliable charging infrastructures for EV owners.
About FreeWire
Established in 2014, FreeWire strives to accelerate global EV uptake with innovative charging solutions.
The company took over Mobilyze.ai in December last year. For context, it is an AI-based platform that helps businesses strategically deploy fast chargers to ensure profit.
FreeWire decided to revive the platform through its own brand Mobilyze Pro. The technology now offers various new assistance features.
Interestingly, the company forecasts the US to need more than 180,000 public fast-charging locations as EVs will grow to 26 million units by 2030.
In response, FreeWire suggests that its new platform can aid the country in meeting its charging infrastructure demand.
Mobilyze Pro details
Mobilyze Pro offers businesses AI-based tools for installing EV chargers while ensuring a maximized return on investment (ROI).
Presented below are the platform’s new features:
- Utilization prediction engine – evaluates current public charging stations’ activity data and correlates it to other relevant factors (EV travel patterns, demographics, and vehicle ownership) to determine the average charging sessions at certain stations daily.
- Tariff recommendation engine – enables companies to quantify fast charging installment’s effect on their utility bills and evaluate the ideal tariff for their location.
- Profitability calculator – estimates EV charger’s operating costs and cash flow.
“Mobilyze Pro is the most powerful software tool available today to analyze and predict strategic deployments of fast charging infrastructure. The platform uses AI to make highly accurate predictions and optimize project economics, making EV fast charging more ubiquitous and more accessible to the public.”
