American automaker Fisker has finally released key details on its flagship electric vehicle model Ronin following its appearance at the recent Product Vision Day 2023 event.
Fisker refers to the five-seater luxury sedan as a “Super GT convertible.” As per the announcement, it will be a limited edition model with only 999 units. The pricing might set you back as it costs $385,000.

Pricing and launch date
As you may observe, the Fisker Ronin is way more expensive than the automaker’s maiden offering Ocean SUV, which only costs between $37,499 to $68,990.
However, it must be noted that Fisker aims to only produce 999 units for this luxury-priced model.
As for the launch date, the automaker aims to launch the Fisker Ronin as early as the second half of 2025.
Features
Fisker claims the all-new Ronin will drive like a “sports sedan” once the driver raises the hardtop. Therefore, the limited edition model offers a 2-in-1 configuration.
It will have a large battery pack that would generate a driving range of up to 600 miles between charges.
Fisker also expects the Ronin to have an acceleration time of 0-60 mph in just about 2 seconds. It also estimates the model to enable a 170 mph top speed and a maximum power of “over 1,000 horsepower.”
The American automaker also asserted that the model’s folding roof pulls back into the trunk to offer additional space for luggage. It also has a frunk for additional storage. It will apparently feature lightweight materials such as carbon fiber 23″ wheels and an aluminum space frame.
In addition, owners can remotely control the Ronin’s folding roof and doors through a smartphone. The doors can also be opened by simply swiping the single door handles. Impressively, the handles on each side extend automatically before the “butterfly doors” open.
Fisker will also equip the Ronin with a 17.1″ high-resolution touchscreen. The dashboard also features an end-to-end touchscreen instead of the traditional buttons. Moreover, another screen is integrated into the steering wheel.
“The Fisker Ronin is for people who love to drive, but who are also thrilled by automotive art and design and demand that their high-performance vehicles embrace a sustainable future,” Chairman and CEO Henrik Fisker said. “Our goal was to create a classic grand touring car, updated for the 21st century and engineered for customers who want to drive from Los Angeles to Napa Valley on a single charge or take on the autobahn at steady high speeds without concern for battery capacity.”
