Fisker announced that its Fisker Ocean won the honorable ‘Green SUV Of The Year 2023’ award from the Green Car Journal, as per EVMagz.
Beating stiff competition from long-established OEMs, the Fisker model is an exemplary model with a class-leading range resulting from its zero-emissions drivetrain and innovations like using recycled materials in vehicles and rooftop solar panels.

It is designed to be the most sustainable SUV on the planet. The Fisker Ocean features a crafted interior with ethically sourced recycled materials.
The eco-friendly cabin presents high-grade upholstery, carpet and interior details made from recycled plastic, including bottles. Employing this type of material lowers the carbon footprint of the Fisker Ocean’s manufacturing.
From fishing nets in the carpets and recycled t-shirts used on seats to crushed carbon fiber in the aerodynamic wheel covers, more than 50 kg of recycled material goes into every Ocean, emphasizing Fisker’s long-term commitment to creating 100% carbon-neutral cars by 2027.
