American electric vehicle startup Faraday Future will finally deliver the first production model of the  FF 91 2.0 Futurist Alliance in a special event on August 15 after months of delay.

We are excited to announce a special delivery campaign marking the beginning of the FF Developer Co-Creation Festival. Stay tuned for the broadcast of our First #FF91 2.0 Futurist Alliance Delivery Ceremony on August 15th! $FFIE #FaradayFuturehttps://t.co/jRhRLIAB3h

According to the press release, the event will witness the FF 91 2.0 Futurist Alliance’s delivery at California-based dealership “Private Collection Motors.” From there, the luxury car dealer will deliver the Jubilee model to its first owner.

FF 91 2.0 Futurist Alliance details

Faraday Future claims that the new FF 91 2.0 Futurist Alliance e-SUV is equipped with three electric motors. It generates a maximum output of 1,050 horsepower. It can also accelerate from 0-60 miles per hour in just 2.27 seconds.

Moreover, it offers a driving range of 381 miles between chargers. However, the automaker plans to only produce 300 units of this model with a base price of $309,000.

The Faraday Future FF 91 2.0 Futurist Alliance will cost $309,000. That's a dollar sign, a three, and several zeros. 381 miles is impressive, but that price is ridiculous. You could get all three of the cars I posted for that money. pic.twitter.com/z7itlWKDAM

In hindsight, Faraday Future said in June that the model’s delivery would occur in August instead of the original schedule in Q2 2023. The delay is apparently due to supply chain issues. The company also intended to further test the EV.

Finally, Faraday Future is now set to deliver the first unit of the limited edition model.

“With all of the necessary compliance processes and steps now completed, the stage is set to facilitate deliveries to users.”

The good news emerged after recent reports that Faraday Future secured fresh funding. The automaker disclosed that it “issued $16,500,000 aggregate principal amount of its unsecured convertible senior promissory notes (the “Note”) together with a common stock purchase warrant to Streeterville Capital, LLC.” This substantial amount will fund the ongoing FF 91 2.0 Futurist Alliance delivery.
