South Korean luxury auto brand Genesis apparently plans to launch a facelifted Electrified GV70, as local YouTuber @Healer_TV spotted the model in a parking lot.

As you can see in the YouTube video content embedded at the bottom of this article, the facelifted Genesis Electrified GV70 prototype is sporting a heavy gray camouflage.
The cover makes it challenging to observe differences from the current model with the facelifted one. Nonetheless, the new headlight graphics, alloy wheels, and bumper design are apparent.
The Korean Car Blog expects the facelifted model to offer a 27-inch OLED display similar to the upcoming GV80 facelift. Unfortunately, there is currently no available information about possible powertrain changes.
The facelift of the Electrified GV70 is likely part of Genesis’ wider efforts to update several models to align with its new vehicle design language, including the G80 and GV80.
Background of the model
Elecktrek reported that Genesis first unveiled the Electrified GV70 as the third model in its electric vehicle lineup in November 2021.
The Hyundai-owned brand packed the new EV model with significant performance and interior improvements from its predecessor.
For instance, it equipped the Electrified GV70 with an upgraded signature Crest grille to improve aerodynamics. It also sports an inverted G-Matrix pattern and a concealed charging port. Inside, it embodies the brand’s “beauty of the white space” concept.
It officially launched the market in 2022 after its siblings Electrified G80 and GV60‘s arrival in 2021. The Electrified GV70 was also the inaugural EV model to undergo production at the Alabama factory in the US last in February.
