The press release noted that the project involved the conversion of the iconic Land Rover Defender into an electric vehicle developed to be stored on a yacht.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Bannenberg & Rowell and Edmiston on this pioneering project. The Shore Tender is a testament to our commitment to sustainable mobility solutions that elevate the luxury experience. With this innovation, we aim to redefine how yacht owners explore the world, offering an eco-friendly alternative without compromising on style or performance.”

Everrati’s Land Rover Defender EV conversion

Everrati claims that the all-electric Shore Tender based on Land Rover Defender can offer yacht owners more sustainable and clean-energy mobility at “any destination they drop anchor.”

The company further noted that the Shore Tender supports on-shore transportation with superior comfort, remarkable designs, and eco-friendly quality. Yacht owners can stow the Shore Tender on board without compromising deck space.

Moreover, customers can also buy the Shore Tender with a matching body paint to its mothership. All trucks also have customized sailcloth duffel bags with an embroidery design that displays the yacht’s name and logo.

“This innovative project sees Everrati providing a solution beyond traditional automotive ownership to a whole new sector in the superyachting industry. The Everrati and Edmiston Shore Tender merges sustainable luxury and zero-emission travel, with a bespoke, high-end vehicle for yacht owner lifestyles.”

Notable features

The Everrati Shore Tender’s frunk is remarkably fitted with a champagne chiller. It is still a rendering version, but it will soon be available for customers who can afford the modified model and a yacht.

It also offers numerous enticing features, including the following:

  • contemporary upholstery
  • towel storage below the vehicle’s benches
  • a sailcloth roof awning
  • reclaimed ocean plastic floor panels
  • removable doors and capstans

The company currently conducts the development and assembly of all its EV conversion projects at its England factory.

Electrek indicated that the company is also now working to expand in the US to raise outputs and meet customer demand.

Its usual works revolve around electric conversions of classic models such as Land Rover Series IIA, Land Rover Defender, and the most recent Porsche 911 ST.
