The global transportation industry continues to shift to more sustainable electric vehicles amid the governments’ goals to cut carbon emissions. That said, it is unsurprising that electric vehicles owned the spotlight at the highly awaited Chicago Auto Show in 2024.

9 EVs impressed in indoor EV test track
Apart from the models on display, nine automakers also showed off their clean-energy vehicles on the indoor electric vehicle test track at the 2024 Chicago Auto Show. These automakers include the following:
• BMW
• Cadillac
• Ford
• Kia
• Lucid
• Nissan
• Tesla
The 125,000 sq.-ft. Chicago Drives Electric test track, sponsored by ComEd, offers attendees the opportunity to experience driving the newest models from different brands and learn more about electric vehicles in general. They can gain insights into home charging, maintenance, ownership costs, and issues like range anxiety.

Unfortunately, the official website has not yet revealed the participating electric vehicle models at the Chicago Drives Electric test track.

The Chicago Auto Show is the largest and longest active auto show in North America, which launched in 1901.
