Chinese automaker NIO rolls out 300,000th car off production line

On December 12, 2022, Chinese automotive manufacturer NIO rolled out its 300,000th car off the production line at its Second Advanced Manufacturing Base, according to the company.

Since the production of its first smart electric vehicle in May 2018, NIO’s been breaking records of production speed and is dedicated to ramping up its production capacity. Furthermore, the production of the 300,000th car marked another breakthrough for NIO’s overall growth this year. 

In 2022, NIO began delivering products from its second-generation product platform NT2.0, namely ET5, ET7, and ES7. The delivered volume of these new models has been steadily growing.

NIO to launch five models in 2023

Notably, NIO is to launch five models to meet the consumer’s diverse needs in the first half of next year.

In addition, the automaker is continuously expanding its global presence. In the first half of this year, the company became the first automaker listed in Hong Kong, Singapore, and the US.

NIO ET7 deliveries

On the other hand, the manufacturer began service and delivery of ET7 in Denmark, Germany, Sweden, and the Netherlands in October. NIO has constructed an innovation center in Berlin while setting up artificial intelligence (AI) and autonomous driving R&D center in Singapore.

By 2025, NIO will serve users in over 25 countries and territories.

NIO’s network of services and sales across the world

The Chinese carmaker also boosts its service and sales network worldwide. As of December 10, the company has 1,255 Power Swap Stations, 12,771 charging piles, and access to more than 610,000 third-party charging piles. And as of December 12, the automaker has 395 NIO Houses and NIO Spaces

NIO is dedicated to offering users worldwide with experiences beyond expectations.
