The Song lineup (BEV + PHEV) led the brand’s plugin vehicle sales in January 2024 with 59,514 units. The all-electric Seagull followed with 36,477 sales, while the Qin family (BEV + PHEV) landed third spot with 21,767 units. The Dolphin (18,905) and Yuan (18,071) completed the top five. Considering BYD’s significant advancement in both the Chinese and the global markets, it would be interesting to see how it would fare this year.
