BYD Atto 3’s arrival
The Driven reported that BYD’s first-ever Atto 3 model left the assembly line in February 2022.
The Australian market was among the first foreign countries to get deliveries of the new all-electric SUV. The Chinese automaker officially introduced the model in Australia in Q1 2022.
Initial deliveries started in August 2022, while volume deliveries began later in the year. Remarkably, it has now penetrated 55 countries across the world, including Columbia, Brazil, Thailand, and Mexico.
According to Car News China, BYD has already exported more than 102,000 Atto 3 units globally as of August 2023. Meanwhile, it has already sold over 359,000 units in its home market. The report further noted that the model currently sells more than 30,000 units per month on average.

Moreover, it offers innovative features for that price, including front seat heating and ventilation, a 3D transparent panoramic image system, and a child-friendly mode, among others.
