As bp’s EV charging infrastructure grows worldwide, Tritium is a natural choice for this order,

Tritium has a global presence and industry-leading DC fast charging technology – we’re looking forward to putting these chargers to work across three continents

Richard Bartlett, The CEO of bp pulse stated on large orders in Tritium company

“Tritium has a global presence and industry-leading DC fast charging technology – we’re looking forward to putting these chargers to work across three continents.”

As part of a multi-year agreement between the two companies, announced in April 2022, Tritium is providing the chargers for bp pulse to support bp’s expansion into electrification.

Tritium envisions a world in which fast EV charging is everywhere,

We’re grateful to the bp team for their order and look forward to working together to support bp pulse as they build a reliable, accessible fast charging network around the world

As a result of bp’s order, Tritium’s industry-leading fast EV chargers will make it easier than ever before for commercial and everyday drivers to join the e-mobility transition

Jane Hunter, The CEO of Tritium stated on partnership with bp’s expansion

“We’re grateful to the bp team for their order and look forward to working together to support bp pulse as they build a reliable, accessible fast charging network around the world.”

A single-person lift power module system

A combination of Tritium’s 50kW RTM and 150kW PKM chargers are in the bp‘s order. Today, one of the most technologically advanced DC fast chargers is Tritium’s RTM, the company’s first modular charger.

The RTM uses a single-person lift power module system for more straightforward power upgrades, maintenance, and serviceability, making it perfect for network operators, dealerships, and the retail and hospitality industries.

Checking out the new @EvieNetworks setup at Hotel Realm, Canberra. These two Tritium RTM units are most welcome in the Parliamentary Triangle area. Only 50kW peak speed, but hopefully this will increase as these units are modular and scalable. #evcharging #kia #ev pic.twitter.com/qnDMDsfrae

Through Tritium’s creative micro-grid design, the high-powered and modular 150kW PKM charger uses a shared power source to increase charger availability and power output. Fleets, telecom operators, heavy commercial complexes, retail, and hospitality all favor the model.

Bp’s European, Australian and American market

The company’s Lebanon, Tennessee facility, expected to begin operations in August 2022 and has a total annual production capacity of 30,000 units annually, will manufacture the chargers for bp’s European and American markets.

The chargers will be created by Tritium in Brisbane at a factory with a capacity of 5,000 units annually for bp’s Australian markets.

This revelation comes two months after Tritium CEO Jane Hunter and bp CEO Bernard Looney attended the Australia launch of bp pulse, the company’s global electrification brand. The executives recently launched the latest bp Pulse fast charge points at their participation in bp Bayside at Brighton East in Melbourne.
