Who’s Legacy Clean Energy?

LCE is an African-American-owned company that offers a variety of electric vehicle charging solutions for almost every sector. It covers “vehicle dealers, public and commercial fleet managers, municipalities, rideshare operators, and a variety of parking applications where AC or High-Power DC charging infrastructure is required.”

Remarkably, LCE customizes its service offering to fit each client’s financial and success targets. The company’s services involve acquiring the necessary gear and software for EV charging. It also involves planning, designing, and installing critical infrastructure. Furthermore, it commissions and activates hardware and software for EV charging.

“As a member of the historically disadvantaged and underserved minority community, I want LCE to become a strong voice for my community regarding matters of clean energy.”

Donny Smith, LCE’s CEO

Who’s Autel Energy?

Autel Energy is a global business with expertise in sustainable technologies and new energy. It has only joined the EV charging industry this September, but it has already led the AC and DC charging solutions market.

Remarkably, a very effective and adaptable network supports the rich feature sets and dynamic communication protocols used in Autel’s commercial offerings.

For reference, the following are Autel Energy’s current products:

  • High-quality charging hardware for AC home and commercial uses
  • Bi-directional charging for V2X
  • Solutions for high-power DC charging with capabilities ranging from 40KW to 480KW

“As a key member of the EV market, Legacy Clean Energy’s faith and trust in Autel Energy is a humbling endorsement of our products and technologies and a testament to our high standards for quality and after-sales customer experience. Autel’s decision to partner with Legacy Clean Energy reflects our continued investment in building diversity within our strategic partnership space. We are beyond excited to welcome Legacy Clean Energy into the Autel Energy family of partners!”

Autel’s North American Sales Director, Andrew Byrne

Autel Energy and LCE’s partnership represents a significant advancement for the nation’s EV charging network. It will prioritize delivering accessible charging infrastructure to marginalized and disadvantaged communities. It will significantly aid the nation in encouraging more people to switch to the electric vehicle regardless of their social status.
