Kia EV6 and Hyundai Ioniq 5 are a few of the in-demand brands Australians genuinely utilize. However, car dealers anticipate beginning to take orders on the 21 new models next year.

10 EVs to launch in Australia in 2023

The Guardian gives us ten electric vehicles that will soon be on the Australian car market this 2023.

Fiat 500e

The Fiat 500 was first created in 1957, discontinued in 1975, and brought again in 2007. The well-liked hatchback now offers an electric drive. This compact EV is designed for drivers in inner cities and has a relatively short range and undetermined pricing.

The story behind the purchase of the magnificent FIAT 500e, and how affordable of an EV it is, is finally out!

Subaru Solterra

Similar in concept to Toyota’s bZ4X, Subaru’s first mass-market electric vehicle is the Solterra. It is a mid-sized SUV in Japan that is expected to have an all-wheel drive operating range of 530 kilometers. The automaker aims to launch it in the market by mid-2023.

Toyota bZ4X

Despite being a pioneer in electric vehicles, Australia’s most well-known automobile manufacturer has notoriously hesitated to adopt all-electric vehicles. However, the bZ4X will now be coming to Australia, although more specifics have yet to be provided. It is scheduled for release middle of this year.

We think #Toyota might display the BZ4X at the Auto Expo 2023. Here is all you need to know about this electric SUV:https://t.co/3ge7kXn8hx@Toyota_India #ToyotaBZ4X #BZ4X #BZ4XelectricSUV #AutoExpo #2023AutoExpo #AutoExpo2023 #ToyotaCars #V3Cars pic.twitter.com/mI2lf1Qz0l

Cupra Born

The Cupra Born, a hatchback similar to the Volkswagen ID.3 but with unreleased specifications, is an option for those seeking hatchbacks. However, it is stated that the vehicle has a range of 550km in Europe.

Volkswagen ID.4/ID.5

In Europe, these Volkswagen vehicles are already on the market and should come to Australia before the year’s end. The ID.4 is estimated to cost in the mid-$60,000 range and has a 77kWh battery with a range of 530km between charges. Their visuals significantly differentiate ID.4 from the ID.5 (and vice versa). It is said that the vehicles should arrive in late 2023.

Skoda Enyaq

Possessing a 77kWh battery and a range of up to 529km, the Skoda Enyaq will soon hit the Australian EV market. However, the pricing of the all-electric family vehicle from the Czech manufacturer has yet to be disclosed.

While it is true that most Europeans adore the Skoda Enyaq, questions as to whether Australians will share their enthusiasm come up. Notably, the Skoda Enyaq will begin accepting orders in late 2023.

Hyundai Ioniq 6

Hitting two birds with one stone, the Ioniq 6 offers a vehicle that has an SUV specification in a sedan body form. A reskin of the Ioniq 5, the Ioniq 6 claims a 610km range and rapid acceleration. It also appears to be one of the most aerodynamically efficient mass-produced automobiles ever.

MG4

With a price tag under $45,000, the MG4 may become one of the most reasonably priced EV vehicles available on the Australian market. The compact hatchback will be available to take on the Nissan Leaf, BYD Atto3, and Cupra Born. It claims that a smaller 64kWh battery will provide a range of up to 600km.

The MG4 EV is similar in size to the ZS EV but, unlike its sibling, it has been built as an EV from the ground-up which allows it to have a smartly-packaged interior, swanky styling and a WLTP range of up to 452km. pic.twitter.com/3fOaU3JcbI

Kia EV9

The Toyota LandCruiser and Nissan Patrol’s customary stomping grounds are being challenged by Kia EV9, which operates on electricity instead of gasoline. Large SUV with off-roading capabilities, the EV9 has yet to have its final production design, specifications, or cost determined. Rumors say that it is expected to sell for roughly $100,000.

Volvo EX90

Although the Australian government may be hesitant to phase out gasoline vehicles, Volvo has ambitions to switch to all-electric cars by 2026. It hopes the EX90 will help it get there.

The top-of-the-line SUV will be available with Twin Motor, which produces a combined 300kW of power, or Twin Motor Performance, which makes 380kW. Although performance is a little worse, both alternatives have a range of about 600km. The EX90 has the vehicle-to-grid capability, enabling it to be used as a portable battery to run a home or even other electric vehicles.

Australia is yet to experience the diversity of electric vehicles in their country as 2023 gives them a wide range of battery electric vehicles to choose from.
