American truck automaker Ram recently unveiled the production form of its first all-electric truck, 1500 REV, at the Super Bowl on February 12. At the same time, RamREV.com has begun to accept customers’ online reservations by signing up for the REV Insider+ membership program for a $100 refundable fee.

“Become a Ram REV Insider+ and secure your place in line to preorder the all-electric Ram 1500 REV.”

RAM debuted their production version of the all-electric 2024 RAM 1500 REV pickup during last night's Super Bowl! The design strays away from the futuristic EV concept RAM debuted last month at CES.

In just five days, the said program hit maximum orders on February 17, per the brand’s online community.

“I’ve already “reserved” but as of today 02/17 I see RAM is no longer accepting” Reservations” for the 1500 REV.”

Stellantis‘ subsidiary Ram first debuted the Ram Revolution (REV) concept model at CES in January 2023. It showed off distinct characteristics such as an autonomous robot charger, up to 18-foot cargo space, removable third-row seating, and large saloon doors.

However, the production model did not pursue these features. Nonetheless, the brand persistently claims that the electric truck will initiate a revolution in the electric truck industry.

“Our Ram 1500 EV is coming to the hot pickup market in 2024. According to our internal performance index our Ram 1500 will outperform all competitors on the attributes customers care most about: range, towing, payload, charge time.”

Reports suggest that the Ram 1500 REV will be the brand’s first model to use the STLA Frame platform, which offers an operating voltage of 800v. It will be equipped with two electric motors on each axle. Interestingly, the electric truck is expected to have a horsepower of 885, which is highly possible given that its ICE vehicle counterpart already boasts 702 hp. As for the range, the automaker has yet to disclose further details.

“It’s built on top of our new STLA Frame architecture, designed specifically for electric vehicles. Make no doubt, we’ll bring the best electric truck to the full-size segment!”
