Ultraviolette has launched India’s “Fastest Electric Bike” worth Rs 3.8 lakh

Electric vehicle startup Ultraviolette has finally launched the F77 electric bike in India, as per Financial Express. The “fastest electric bike” costs Rs 3.80 lakh (ex-showroom), with deliveries scheduled to start in January 2023.

Variants and their pricesThe Bengaluru-based company offers the following variants for the all-new F77 electric bike:Indian customers can already get the high-performance electric bike, with pricing ranging from Rs 3.80 lakh to Rs 5.50 lakh (ex-showroom). However, the Limited Edition F77 model will only be produced in 77 units.Technical detailsIndia Today reported that a 7.1kWh battery is combined with a 27kW/85Nm motor in the F77. Meanwhile, a 29kW/95Nm motor and a 10.3kWh battery are featured in the F77 Recon. The electric motorcycle comes standard with the ride modes of Glide, Combat, Ballistic, and Park Assist.The high-end model of the Ultraviolette F77 has a top speed of 150kmph and a range of 307km on a single charge.Delivery ScheduleIt is also worth noting that the Ultraviolette F77 electric bike deliveries will undergo a phase-wise process.It will be delivered to customers correspondingly:

CEO of Ultraviolette and co-founder Narayan Subramaniam stated:

Variants and their prices

The Bengaluru-based company offers the following variants for the all-new F77 electric bike:

Ultraviolette F77 VariantPrice (ex-showroom)
F77 StandardRs 3.80 lakh
F77 ReconRs 4.55 lakh
F77 Limited Edition Rs 5.50 lakh

Indian customers can already get the high-performance electric bike, with pricing ranging from Rs 3.80 lakh to Rs 5.50 lakh (ex-showroom). However, the Limited Edition F77 model will only be produced in 77 units.

Technical details

India Today reported that a 7.1kWh battery is combined with a 27kW/85Nm motor in the F77.

Meanwhile, a 29kW/95Nm motor and a 10.3kWh battery are featured in the F77 Recon. The electric motorcycle comes standard with the ride modes of Glide, Combat, Ballistic, and Park Assist.

The high-end model of the Ultraviolette F77 has a top speed of 150kmph and a range of 307km on a single charge.

Delivery Schedule

It is also worth noting that the Ultraviolette F77 electric bike deliveries will undergo a phase-wise process.

It will be delivered to customers correspondingly:

  • Q1 2023 – Bengaluru
  • Q2 2023 – Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, and Cochin
  • Q3 2023 – Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Delhi, and Lucknow
  • Q42023 – Gurugram, Jaipur, Kolkata, Guwahati, and Ludhiana

“With its commercial launch, the F77 is undeniably the most technologically advanced electric motorcycle in India that is backed by over five years of R&D. Although built as an urban, high-performance sports motorcycle, we at Ultraviolette have spent the last couple of years putting the F77 through some of the roughest and extreme terrains and weather conditions across the country, proving its capability and safety features. We cannot wait for customers across the board, both enthusiasts and seasoned riders, to experience the unparalleled performance and the Ultraviolette ownership journey,” said Ultraviolette CTO and co-founder Niraj Rajmohan.

On October 23, 2022, reservations for the electric bike commenced. The latest update from the company indicated that it had already received reservations of over 70,000 from 190 different countries.
