Tesla is featured among the top-ranked companies from a multitude of industries in Interbrand‘s Best Global Brands 2022 report.

NEWS: International brand consultancy firm Interbrand has released its Best Global Brands 2022 report.@Tesla was #2 on the top 15 risers list with a 32% year-over-year growth in its brand value. It ranked as the 12th top brand in the world overall. pic.twitter.com/GIMjlitQbq

Remarkably, the American automaker is among the three companies that secured the highest year-over-year percentage growth in brand value. The international brand consultancy firm also reported the same 32% YoY growth in brand value as Tesla for Microsoft and Chanel. Toyota and Mercedes ranked higher at 6th and 8th spot respectively. Tesla, the NEV brand, ranked at 12th spot.

“Tesla brand is to climate what the Apple brand is to technology”

Based on the rankings, Tesla was the second fastest-growing brand overall. The consultancy firm claims this is partly due to Tesla capitalizing on environmental truths that other businesses have not tapped into.

Notably, Tesla has established itself as a major company that offers sustainable solutions as the climate crisis gains attention. The company has been delivering green products like electric cars and battery storage solutions to adhere to global climate targets.

Interbrand sees this approach as the “Tesla brand is to climate what the Apple brand is to technology.” It has also made the following observations regarding Tesla:

“Tesla, whose mission is accelerating the transition to green energy, is a first mover capitalizing on the economic opportunity that the energy transmission is creating, and it is doing so in a way that drives participation. In making the right choice, the desirable choice, Tesla has had an incredible year in spite of a semiconductor crisis, with $47.2 billion in revenues and 87% growth in the number of vehicles delivered.

“It has also increased its footprint in China with the opening of a R&D center and the addition of a data center to its Gigafactory in Shanghai. The continued market strength of Tesla’s offerings and strong interest in upcoming launches indicate that the Tesla brand and its’ products enjoy a differentiated view in the consumers’ minds. With no production yet, there are 1.2 million Cybertruck reservations worth $80 billion. Tesla is forecasting that it will make 1.5 million vehicles in 2022, up from 930,000 in 2021.”

It is not a surprise that Tesla is regarded as one of the strongest and fastest-growing companies given its consistent record of excellence in innovation and the provision of green technologies.
