Tesla Cybertruck’s initial production may indeed start soon

As mentioned, Tesla is currently scouting for 26 employees at Gigafactory Texas. Of those total job openings, 23 are related to production operations.

That considered, Tesla may soon start the initial production of the highly-awaited Cybertruck. It may occur within the period that CEO Elon Musk mentioned during the Q4 and FY 2022 earnings call, which is by summer 2023.

“We do expect production to start… maybe sometime this summer. But I always try to downplay the start of production because the start of production is always very slow. It increases exponentially, but it’s always very slow at first. So I wouldn’t put too much thought in start of production. It’s kind of ‘When does volume production actually happen?’ and that’s next year.”
