The EVOGEN powertrain powers Tata’s new Ace EV 1000, enabling it to deliver an exceptional driving experience. It also supports fast charging technology for high uptime.

Tata Motors is optimistic that the Ace EV 1000 can meet the evolving demands from different sectors, including FMCG, beverages, paints & lubricants, LPG & dairy.

“…With the launch of the Ace EV 1000, we are extending the experience to customers who are looking at solutions with improved operating economics across the varied sectors they service. We are confident that the Ace EV 1000 will contribute to a greener future while delivering superior value and low cost of ownership.”

Mr. Vinay Pathak, Vice President & Business Head – SCV&PU, Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles

Unfortunately, the company has yet to reveal more details about the new electric mini-truck.

Key features

Tata Motors offers a wide range of remarkable features, such as follows:

  • Advanced battery management system
  • Regenerative braking system
  • Fleet Edge telematics system
  • Enormous aggregates for best-in-class uptime
  • Versatile cargo decks

The Tata Ace EV 1000 also has access to more than 150 Electric Vehicle Support Centres across India. Moreover, it benefits from the tremendous resources of the Tata UniEVerse in partnership with other companies under the Tata Group umbrella.

Tata will offer the Tata Ace EV 1000 at all its commercial vehicle dealerships throughout India.

Tata offers a 7-year battery warranty and a 5-year comprehensive maintenance package for the new Ace EV 1000 mini-truck customers.

Moving forward

Tata Motors aims to launch ten electric vehicle models in the next 3 to 4 years.

In addition, it set a target to have its EVs account for at least 25% of its overall vehicle sales by 2025 and 30% by 2030. It represents a notable increase from just 9.3% in 2023.

This year, it aims to sell over 75,000 units.

Notably, Tata Motors currently holds over 70% share of India’s electric vehicle market. Therefore, it is indeed significant for the automaker to defend its leading position against local brands and foreign automakers eyeing the local market.
