Through its Philippine business division, Chinese automaker Foton is set to showcase the Tornado 3.6 EV at a company event at the World Trade Center in Pasay City from February 10 to 12, per the nation’s top newspaper Manila Bulletin.
The event entitled “Foton’s Big Show 2023: Commerce and Mobility Synergized,” will commemorate the brand’s 16th anniversary in the Philippines. Notably, the event will demonstrate the brand’s sustainability efforts, which are expected to influence other businesses to join the drive for clean mobility.
Unfortunately, the company has not yet revealed the electric truck‘s key specifications or any relevant details.
Purpose
Foton Motor Philippines will unveil the country’s first-ever electric light-duty truck for a more sustainable logistic operation. It will be alongside Foton’s best-selling and new products, with 33 distinct units in the roundup. Among these are the new electric Harabas Miller and the Traveller 2.0.
