The development of more reasonably priced electric bicycles is indeed remarkable, as an increasing number of people are coming to appreciate the advantages of getting around on two wheels.

Get £300 savings if you purchase

Mycle’s prices for its two of the most popular electric bicycles, Comfort and Cadence models, have been reduced.

In the past, the retail price of both bicycles was £1,299 (USD 1,563). Mycle has now reduced the cost of their products to just £999 (or USD 1,201).

As savings of £300 is not something to scoff at, it is undoubtedly possible for more people to consider switching to transportation on two wheels.

Notably, the Cadence, the Comfort, and the Compact are the three bicycles that Mycle offers, and all have prices that are less than one thousand GBP.

In an article published by the British e-mobility publication Move Electric, Mycle stated that providing reasonably priced alternative modes of transportation is at the center of its ambitions.

“Mycle has always recognized that affordable alternatives are a key part of affecting change on a greater scale. This is why they have worked hard to reduce the cost of a number of its models and offer as many people as possible an alternative to taking the car.”

The Comfort, Cadence, and Charge models

In July 2022, Mycle officially introduced the Comfort, Cadence, and Charge models. These are three electric bicycles designed to maximize the rider’s ability to navigate urban environments efficiently.

Both the Comfort and the Cadence come equipped with a 250-watt rear hub motor, which has recently been made available at a more reasonable price.

The frame design of the two bicycles differentiates them from one another.

The Comfort bike has a frame designed to be ridden by stepping through it. In contrast, the Cadence bike has a structure designed to be ridden by stepping over it, making it more similar to a traditional bicycle.

The other significant difference between the two bikes is the larger battery in comfort, with a 10.4-Ah capacity and 28 miles claimed range. Meanwhile, the Cadence has a 7.8-Ah battery pack and can travel 28 miles on a single charge.

The Cadence can also be equipped with a rear cargo with limited luggage capacity, allowing it to be used for both leisure and utility-focused rides.

Along with the Comfort and Cadence models, Mycle has reduced the prices of its Compact Plus model from £1,299 (USD 1,563) to £1,199 (USD 1,442), as well as its Charge model from £1,599 (USD 1,924) to £1,299 (USD 1,563)—all in all, pretty significant price reductions.

The bikes are available in the United Kingdom via Mycle’s official website. They all come with the standard MycleCare one-year warranty.
