American EV maker Tesla reportedly debuted the Model S and X in its official stores in South Korea ahead of its delivery schedule in late 2023.
Notably, Tesla announced the significant expansion milestone on its new Korean Twitter account. The automaker encourages South Korean customers to visit the nearest Tesla stores to personally see the new Model S and X.
Pricing
Tesla’s official South Korean website indicates the following pricing for the Tesla Model S and X:
Models | Base Price |
Tesla Model S | ₩124,490,000 ($94,519) |
Tesla Model S Plaid | ₩137,490,000 ($104,389) |
Tesla Model X | ₩139,490,000 ($105,908) |
Tesla Model X Plaid | ₩153,490,000 ($116,537) |
However, the exact date of the new models’ delivery to the South Korean market is still unknown. Nonetheless, it is anticipated by late 2023, if not this quarter.
It is worth noting that Tesla’s debut in South Korea comes after comparable ones in Mainland China, the EV giant’s second-largest revenue-generating market after the US.
