Leading American automaker Tesla surprised the industry with its imminent participation at the 2024 Chicago Auto Show, marking its first time entering North America’s largest auto show.
Tesla’s entry
Chicago Auto Show’s website revealed that Tesla will participate in this year’s event.
Excitingly, the American electric vehicle giant will exhibit three of its production vehicles, including the Tesla Model 3, Model X, and Model Y.
The website dedicated three pages to the three Tesla EVs. The Tesla Model 3 got a major revamp for the 2024 model year, offering a more elegant exterior and interior appearance. The 4-door electric sedan offers three variants: Standard Range RWD, Long Range AWD, and Performance. It has a price range of $41,000 to $55,000.
The Tesla Model X is a 7-seater electric car with two available variants, including the Model X and Plaid. It also has two drivetrain configurations: A dual-motor long-range trim that generates 670 horsepower and a 335-mile range and a tri-motor Plaid model that enables a 1,020 horsepower and a 326-mile max range. Its price ranges from $82,000 to $110,000.
Lastly, the Tesla Model Y is a 4-door electric crossover with three available variants: Standard Range, Long Range, and Performance. It also offers single and dual-motor drivetrain options with 260-285 miles of driving range. It has a price range of $46,000 to $55,000.

The highly awaited Chicago Auto Show will open to the public on McCormick Place on February 10-19, 2024.

Interested people can attend the event for only $17 for adults, $12 for 62+ year-old seniors, and $12 for 4-12 year-old children.
Excitingly, other legacy automakers will also participate in the 2024 Chicago Auto Show, such as Ford, BWM, Cadillac, Chevy, Honda, GME, Hyundai, Maserati, Nissan, Subaru, and Toyota, among others. Unfortunately, it seems that Tesla has no plans to exhibit its most hyped electric pickup, Cybertruck.
