Tesla initially introduced the all-electric pickup Cybertruck with a unique and stunning stainless steel design four years ago. Since then, the Musk-led company has set production and launch delivery schedules. However, none of these timelines materialized due to major production issues causing multiple delays.
Finally, Tesla began to advance its Cybetruck project with the Delivery Event occurring tomorrow. It will kick off at 2 pm Central Time/3 pm Eastern Time at Tesla’s Austin HQ in Texas.

Expectations
Teslarati reported that Tesla may initially deliver limited Cybertruck units for only 10 to 30 lucky customers on Thursday.
Tesla will also officially disclose the Cybertruck’s pricing, configurations, and driving range. The company is also expected to release some of the key specifications of the various trims of the e-pickup.
Wedbush Analyst Dan Ives stated in an investors’ note today that the pricing is one of the most crucial details Tesla must clarify at the upcoming event.
Dan Ives and Wedbush also retained their price guideline of $310 with an “Outperform” rating on Tesla’s stocks.
“We believe updated pricing will come out at Thursday’s event on each of the trim levels as the company scales the Cybertruck production story to give more clarity to the Street. Whisper numbers for the single motor are in the ~$50k range, with prices for the dual and tri-motor variants likely to be in the $60k – $80k range.”

The launch of the Cybertruck is crucial for Tesla to achieve its target of 20 million EV sales by 2030. As of now, the highly awaited pickup has gained about 2 million preorders from interested customers. Given the complexity of the model’s design, it would be interesting to see how Tesla would ramp up production to meet the demand.
