Multinational automaker Stellantis teased the imminent introduction of a new Chrysler electric concept car next week as the brand pushes for an “all-electric future.”
“The Chrysler brand has delighted customers with distinctive designs, craftsmanship, and advanced innovation and technology since the company was founded in 1925. Chrysler continues to build on that nearly 100-year legacy of creating ingenious products and technologies for mainstream customers, moving forward on an electrified transformation that will launch the brand’s first battery-electric vehicle in 2025 and an all-electric portfolio in 2028.”

Teaser highlights
Stellantis shared the first of the three teaser photos of the yet-to-be-unveiled Chrysler electric concept car yesterday, February 6.
According to the parent company, the new concept car will offer a glimpse of Chrysler’s vision of becoming an all-electric brand.
Interested Stellantis fans can access the details of the upcoming concept car reveal at chrysler.com on February 13, which Chrysler CEO Chris Feuell will host.
What’s currently known about the new concept?
The first teaser photo offered a very close-up shot of the electric concept car’s taillight lens, which did not disclose any notable details about what the car would look like. However, Car Scoops suggests that the concept car “could be called the Halcyon.” It also pointed out the concept car’s apparent soft curves and an illuminated grille. The dark blue accents evident in the teaser photo may also hint at a potential solar roof integration.
The new electric concept car will initiate Chrysler’s electric vehicle portfolio in North America and will likely ride on the STLA Large platform. The brand designed it as a “forward-looking” concept that would likely be the basis of its first-ever EV model due next year. As Stellantis previously announced, at least one Chrysler EV will use the said platform with an initial battery pack choice of 85-118 kWh to enable a driving range of up to 500 miles (805 km) between charges.
It will be crucial to Chrysler’s plans to become an all-electric brand by 2028, which would not be very challenging because it only has one offering in its lineup.
More from Stellantis
Stellantis also plans to introduce the new 2025 Dodge Charger on March 5 this year, as EV-a2z previously reported. It is expected to hit the electric vehicle market in “late 2024.”
Based on the leaked photos of a test mule, the upcoming EV is a two-door coupe with the brand’s Fratzog logo. It looks very similar to the concept car introduced in 2022, including the iconic light bar and wide stance.
We can expect to learn more details about the new Chrysler electric concept car at the official unveiling on February 13 at 5:01 a.m. ET.
