REE Automotive declared the P7-B, a Class 3 box truck made on a P7 cab structure. The new P7-B is part of a fleet of cars accessible to potential consumers to assess, trial, and experience the agility, performance, and design allowed by the novel REEcorner x-by-wire technology of REE.
This P7 box truck configuration offers expanded interior room for passengers and payload and a low step-in height while aiming a top speed of 75 mph (120 km/h), maximum capacity of 150 miles (241 km), up to 4,400 lbs (2,000 kg) cargo, and car weight ratings (GVWR) of up to 14,000 lbs. (6,350 kg).

The configuration can be customized to best fit consumer needs. The entire x-by-wire architecture supports all-wheel steer, all-wheel drive, adaptive regenerative breaking, creep control, hill start-support, and torque vectoring as standard and also the over-the-air updates.
As per REE, to date, assessments by potential consumers including worldwide delivery, logistics, and e-commerce firm have been positive and uplifting. The potential consumers, to date, experienced in-person the low step-in height intended for faster delivery periods and also decreased energy usage because of greater aerodynamics and effective power management system of the P7 structure architecture.
Consumers also experienced the agility and movability provided by full-wheel drive of REE and full-wheel steer for unparalleled car control, leading to greater handling and security in unfavorable situations. The driver-concentrated cabin is intended for effective ergonomics and human-machine interface for maximum driver convenience, security, and efficiency. The P7-B plans to decrease total cost of ownership (TCO) to aid ease the transition of fleets to EVs.
The all-by-wire electric truck goals the significant and increasing commercial EV mid- and final-mile delivery market, with applications like 16-foot vans and delivery trucks. It was made in response to market needs and represents a possible chance for REE to present fleets with full cars. It also follows the presently announced Proxima Powered by REE, which marks the launch of P7 on a walk-in van and features JB Poindexter’s Morgan Olson and EAVX Proxima body combined with the stripped structure of REE’s P7.
