Real Madrid’s basketball and football team players and coaches have received their new all-electric vehicles from BMW. According to Daily Mail, it is a component of a sponsorship agreement between the German automaker and the organization.

Former partnership with Audi
The club had a partnership with Audi, which committed the automaker to provide cars for the players. However, it came to an end after almost 20 years earlier this year.
Real is reported to have ended their 2003-starting partnership with Audi after failing to reach an agreement on a new contract. After then, the Spanish juggernauts partnered with BMW.
Partnership with BMW
The partnership is a significant step toward the club’s target of an all-electric fleet.
Unfortunately, specifics about the agreement have not been made public. However, local media reports indicate Real receives a yearly salary of almost £6.5 million from the German automaker.
Most of the players from the first team are traveling to Qatar for the World Cup. That said, several well-known Real Madrid players will have to wait to drive their brand-new vehicles.
