Indian e-motorcycle startup TORK Motors continues to improve its recently launched Kratos R model with a new ride mode, ECO+. According to Autocar Pro, the ECO+ boosts the Kratos R’s real-world driving range.
What’s special about the ECO+ ride mode?
The newly developed ECO+ ride mode apparently has the capacity to increase the driving range of the Kratos R electric motorcycle to more than 150 km between chargers in urban settings. It demonstrates a notable increase from the previous 120 km range and is closer to its 180 km IDC range. In addition, the ECO+ boasts a 35-kilometer-per-hour limited top speed ideal for city riding.
“The addition of ECO+ mode comes as a result of ask from our customers. People riding in city demanded more range in certain riding conditions while having the option to quickly switch to higher performance when needed.”

Chief Shelke further emphasized that ECO+ ride mode offers riders another option that suits their needs and preferences.
“We added the ECO+ mode to offer them flexibility and enhance the versatility of the package that the KRATOS R already provided. Depending on their mood, riders can extract the maximum range with this mode or unleash the full potential of the motorcycle in SPORT mode at the flick of a switch. And then, we also have an ECO and CITY mode for riders wanting to find middle grounds.”

About the Kratos R
Bike Wale indicated that Tork Kratos R features a 9kW electric motor that generates a maximum output of 38Nm. It also has a P67-certified li-ion battery pack with a 4kWh capacity. It also boasts a 0%-80% charging in just an hour.
