Leading American electric automaker Tesla is reportedly offering another discount for select models after previously discounting the Model 3 and Model Y, as reported by DriveTeslaCanada.
Tesla has launched a discount and incentives program to boost its Q4 2022 deliveries. Previous reports claim that the automaker has a demand problem, which is also reflected by its current inventory.
Tesla EV Discounts and Incentives
Model 3 and Model Y discounts
Tesla has been granting Canadian customers a $5,000 discount on inventory Model 3 and Model Y cars starting December 21. Meanwhile, that amount is increased to $7,500 in the United States.
Supercharging credits
US and Canadian markets have also received Tesla’s free Supercharging credits of 10,000mi.
Model S and Model X discounts
Now, Tesla is launching another program for the previously undiscounted Model S and Model X.
Tesla announced a $10,000 discount on December 30 for inventory Model S and Model X sales in Canada that are delivered before the year ends.
The same program is also offered to US customers for only a $7,500 discount.
Tesla is undoubtedly attempting to sell as many inventory cars as possible before Q4 2022 ends. However, there are only two days remaining in the year when this new discount is launched, so it might not impact deliveries much.
