Tesla’s Supercharger will continue to expand for non-Tesla E.V.s, specifically in the U.K.
U.S. E.V. maker Tesla announced that they are expanding its Supercharger pilot program in Europe that allows non-Tesla E.V.s for use. The pilot program was previously available in some stations in Netherlands, Norway, and France.
Tesla has opened access at 15 Supercharger stations across the U.K. and will be available to non-Tesla drivers. Drivers may access the Supercharger network through Tesla’s smartphone app.
The 15 sites that will eventually open to non-Tesla owners are:
- Aberystwyth
- Adderstone
- Aviemore
- Banbury
- Birmingham St Andrews
- Cardiff
- Dundee
- Flint
- Folkestone Eurotunnel
- Grays
- Manchester Trafford Centre

The Non-Tesla Supercharger Pilot Program was initially launched in 2021. Currently, the non-Tesla Supercharger pilot is now available in the following countries: France, The Netherlands, Norway, the U.K., Spain, Sweden, Belgium, and Austria.
Tesla said in a statement “It’s always been our ambition to open the Supercharger network to non-Tesla E.V.s, and by doing so, encourage more drivers to go electric.”
“More customers using the Supercharger network enables faster expansion. Our goal is to learn and iterate quickly while continuing to aggressively expand the network, so we can eventually welcome both Tesla and Non-Tesla drivers at every Supercharger worldwide.
