VinFast reported on December 8 that it has partnered with the American telecommunications giant T-Mobile to provide internet connectivity for its smart electric vehicles, as per Business Wire.

Agreement
The officially signed agreement commits T-Mobile to equip VinFast’s US and European EVs with advanced connectivity technology, such as the VF 6, VF 7, VF 8, and VF 9.
As per the report, these vehicles will feature the following to enable connected services:
· remote vehicle services
· streaming media and gaming on-the-go
· safety features (live traffic information)
· Wi-Fi hotspot data on select models
· over the air firmware and software updates
The Vietnamese automaker will also use T-Mobile’s IoT platform that boasts real-time data, performance surveilling, and remote alerts. Through this, VinFast’s service and maintenance operation worldwide for its million new EVs would be more convenient and reliable.

In retrospect, VinFast previously announced that the United States had received the first batch of its VF8 electric vehicles. That said, VinFast’s strategic partnership with the top telecommunications company in the world will further aid the automaker to achieve its expansion goals. It will also help the automaker to offer customers an enjoyable and safer driving experience with T-Mobile’s cutting-edge connectivity features.
