Swedish automaker Polestar proudly announced the successful production of its 5-door electric liftback 2 on Wednesday.
Polestar has commenced the revamped Polestar 2 deliveries as part of its global expansion efforts.
For context, the Polestar 2 signifies the company’s first high-volume and all-electric model. It underwent production in 2020 and penetrated foreign markets, including the UK, Belgium, Germany, Sweden, and Norway.
2024 Polestar 2 details
Polestar has just launched the 2024 model of the Polestar 2 in early 2023. Its continuous OTA software updates enable the EV to have new features such as follows:
- More potent battery packs
- Improved electric motors
- RWD configuration
- Polestar SmartZone (cameras, sensors, and radars for safer driving)
Polestar Chief Thomas Ingenlath emphasized that the new Polestar 2 is currently the model’s best version.
“The upgraded Polestar 2 is the best version to date. With improved software, better quality, longer range and faster charging, it is the basis from which we continue to grow our business.”

It now has a WLTP-certified driving range of 654 km (406 miles). It can support a maximum charging speed of 205 kW with its improved 82 kWh battery pack.
