Chinese electric automaker NIO will officially start delivering its ET5 model in Germany on March 31, 2023.
The schedule aligns with the company’s initial commitment to start European deliveries of the electric sedan in the third month of the year.
Interestingly, NIO appears to take advantage of the German delivery operation to introduce the ET5 first mover marketing campaign.
NIO offers incentives for first ET5 customers
The Chinese automaker will offer a complimentary NOMI Mate voice assistance system and electric folding trailer hitch amounting to 1,800 euros for the first customers to take delivery of the NIO ET5 model, CnEVPost reports citing an article from the NIO App.
Early orders for the ET5 will also be offered with the same incentives. Per the report, NIO employees will begin communicating with customers in the following days.
German pricing for the NIO ET5
The NIO ET5 has a base price of 47,500 euros in Germany, plus battery costs, per its online configurator.
However, that amount can still further drop as an environmental discount is currently available worth 4,500 euros.
