The Chinese global automaker NIO announced through its mobile app that it added 12 NIO Houses in China in October. The overall number of Houses is now 88 from the previous 76, as per CnEVPost.
About NIO House
The automaker’s flagship experience facility is The NIO House. Apart from displaying and selling cars, it also serves as a place where NIO can provide owners with a high-quality lifestyle. Furthermore, it usually has two areas designated for model displays and various user functions.
What’s fascinating about these NIO houses is it allows the owners to use the facility for various events, including birthday parties, business meetings, and even coffee bonding with friends.
NIO House’s purpose
NIO aspires to provide a high-quality lifestyle for owners in every city through the NIO House. Through this strategy, outsiders or potential buyers may believe that purchasing an NIO vehicle entails more than simply owning a car, but it also signifies entering an affluent social club.
Notably, local NIO Houses are also being built by NIO in foreign markets. It already operates two of these facilities in Norway. In addition, it is now constructing other NIO Houses in several other European nations.
On the other hand, NIO also has smaller 324 NIO Spaces in China. However, the automaker did not expand the current number of these facilities in October.

- added 1 service center to the existing 71 facilities
- added 2 authorized service centers to the existing 179
- added 2 delivery centers to the existing 48
- added 1 used car experience store to the existing 2
- added 43 battery swap stations to the existing 280
- added 49 supercharging stations to the existing 1,046
- added 30 destination charging stations to the existing 916
- added 26,455 third-party charging piles to the existing 563,545
NIO Houses is an intelligent strategy of NIO to encourage more people to consider buying NIO electric vehicles over other brands.
