The Tesla app’s latest updated version, 4.16, has received new features that significantly offer more charging data for its users, as per Teslarati.
Update details
The release notes on the Tesla app’s Appstore page state, “View Charge Stats for the entire year, swipe graphs to see charging history.”
Apart from the charging history, the update has also added functionalities that allow users to view the money it has saved and more.
Interestingly, the update will further bring some additional improvements. Owners may now choose between viewing the “total charged” or the “total spent” graphs when viewing their charging history, according to NotaTeslaApp.
Furthermore, version 4.16 of the Tesla App now includes a feature that enables users to add the name of the electric vehicle (EV) to the top right of the screen when reviewing gas savings.
In order to assist new owners in maintaining battery health and lowering charging expenses, Tesla has added a new “Charging Tips” feature on the latest version of the app. A “News and Events” notification setting has also been provided on the Tesla app.
It is worth noting that the Tesla app is among the greatest services the automaker currently provides for its owners as it outshines the other automakers’ mobile apps.
With these continuous updates, other automakers might be motivated to follow Tesla’s path in providing a solid customer ownership experience. Through this, the adoption of electric vehicles will be further encouraged and pushed among the general public.
