South Korean automaker Kia is offering more than $12,000 in discounts to further boost sales of the 2024 EV6 and EV9 electric crossovers, according to CarsDirect’s analysis.
Kia’s biggest discounts yet
Kia offers interested buyers substantial discounts on select 2024 EV6 and EV9 trims as the VIN program extends until July 8, 2024.
This initiative is apparently part of the South Korean auto brand’s effort to clear inventory and prepare for new models in its lineup.

A bulletin sent to dealers last week confirmed that the 2024 Kia EV6 can now benefit from the $1,500 VIN-specific incentive. It also gained access to the Select VIN Summer Sticker Sales program’s maximum discount of $1,500.
In addition, the South Korean automaker offers $7,500 in Customer Cash. Even more, customers can also obtain a $500 loyalty discount or 0% APR for 60 months.
For customers opting to lease, savings could reach up to $12,800 on the AWD GT-Line trim in select states, including the Sticker bonus and Loyalty discount.

2024 Kia EV9 offers up to $12,400 in stackable discounts
The 2024 Kia EV9 offers stackable discounts of up to $12,400 on select trims.
Like the 2024 Kia EV6, the three-row electric crossover can take advantage of the maximum $1,500 VIN savings deal. On top of that, interested buyers can choose between the $7,500 Customer Cash or 0% financing for 48 months.
The EV9 Land trim can benefit from the $10,400 in lease cash in California, Oregon, and Washington.
It must also be noted that each trim has various lease incentive offers: $9,000 off the base Light Standard Range and $9,800 off the Long Range.
The wind trim is also eligible for $8,600 in incentives, while the GT-Line offers $10,100 off. The EV9 Land gets $11,900 in additional incentives. Including the $500 loyalty bonus, interested buyers can acquire the 2024 EV9 Land trim with discounts of up to $12,400.

Kia EV6 and EV9 sales records
The Kia EV6 has sold more than 210,000 units in the global market since its launch in August 2021. Kia recently debuted the new EV6 with a larger battery pack, new innovations, and an upgraded design.
Meanwhile, the EV9 officially hit the market in late 2023. Since then, this three-row electric SUV has boosted Kia’s sales. It had record-setting sales of 1,572 units in the US market last month, increasing the cumulative sales this year to 5,579 units.
Its sibling, Kia EV6’s US sales, reached a total of 6,110 units in the first four months of 2024, up 31% from just 4,633 units in the same period last year.
Kia plans to add more VINs during the program, which will conclude on July 8.
