BMW Group Malaysia introduced BMW Charging in partnership with local electric vehicle charging provider JomCharge, as per New Straits Times.
BMW Group Malaysia head of corporate communications and sustainability Sashi Ambi stated the company was working to partner with industry leaders in the charging infrastructure.

BMW Charging & JomCharge partnership
BMW Charging, in partnership with JomCharge, provides convenient access to over 100 charging facilities throughout the city center and national highways, easy range anxiety, and offers BMW electric vehicle owners peace of mind on every journey.
The network includes the infrastructure owned by Gentari, Petrona’s green mobility and clean energy division.
All existing and new BMW EV owners are qualified to register for the BMW Charging package.
One-year non-renewable subscription’s one-time fee
The company said for a RM 640 ($145) one-time fee, this one-year non-renewable subscription is equipped with complimentary JomCharge credits worth RM 160 ($36) to offer an RM 800 ($182) total package value.
Once registered, consumers could enjoy this package as a pay-per-use service with an extra 10% discount on each charging transaction for one year.

Currently, BMW Group Malaysia provides BMW, and MINI EV owners access to more than 550 charging facilities nationwide.
Industry partners
They are primarily powered by industry partners like ChargEV, with over 330 charging stations, JomCharge with more than 65 charging stations, and Gentari with 50 charging stations.
The latter includes the 26 charging facilities powered by Yinson GreenTech and ChargEV at 17 Starbucks stores within Penang, Malacca, Johor, and Klang Valley.
